Hanoverian Stallion
Hanoverian Stallion of
the Year 1984
This "Hanoverian
Stallion of the Year 1995" is one of Germany's best sires for
both dressage and jumping horses. His offspring excel as
outstanding jumping horses of enormous ability and energetic
movements. The most famous son of Espri is "E.T.
FRH" (rider: Hugo Simon, Austria) who is still one of the most
successful international show jumping horses. Another son,
Edgar, was the 1996 World Champion seven-year-old jumper, and
son Esprit de Valdemar competed at the 2000 Olympics.
Nadine Capellmann's Hanoverian gelding Elvis (Espri/Garibaldi
II) just won the 2005 Otto Lorke Prize. This award honors
Germany's most successful upcoming Grand Prix Horse.

The Champion Stallion of
the '99 Oldenburg approval has made a reputation for himself as
a sire meanwhile: his strong moving off-spring appear regularly
at the foal auctions in Vechta. At
the 2003 and 2004 Oldenburg approvals, two of his
sons were licensed in Vechta at each approval
including Dutch Dormello, licensed in 2003 and a
Premium Stallion in 2004 Don Bon Jovi. His daughters have also made
their debut at the Elite Broodmare Show in Rastede
and were sensationally successful: seven State
Premium mares, including two highly ranked Brillantring finalists.
His sire, Dream of Heidelberg, was successful in
advanced level dressage and a younger full brother
of his sire won a series of medium level dressage
tests in 2004 at the age of six.
Dormello's first public appearances under saddle
were brilliant: he won many tests for young riding
and dressage horses and successfully passed his 30
day test in Vechta. At his 70 day test in
Neustadt-Dosse he achieved the second highest
dressage index with the highest scores for
rideability and quality of movement in trot and
canter. |
