Crosiadore Farm is a sport horse breeding
facility located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. We
specialize in the breeding of Oldenburg and Hanoverian
sport horses for the discipline of Dressage. We typically
produce between five and seven foals a year and now offer for sale a few
select young horses under saddle.
In 2008, our three year old Florencio/Lady's
King mare
Florenzio was the winner of the first Mare Performance
test held by the German Oldenburg Verband in the US. She was
awarded the title of Special
Premium Mare, the equivalent of the
German SPS ranking. Our Licotus/Quo Vadi mare
Aussprache
also received the title of Special Premium. These two mares were
the only mares awarded this title in the US in 2008.
We are also
proud to have produced the top foal of the 2008 Inspection tour.
This foal, Solar Eclipse, a filly by Sir Donnerhall out of our
Espri mare
Eclipse will be retained for our breeding program.
Our property
encompasses an 84-acre parcel of land, half of which is devoted
to pasture for the horses. The remaining property is still used as farmland. Our horses
are raised in small groups with as much year-round turnout as
possible. Each field has a large run-in shed lined with rubber
mats and covered with shavings.
Crosiadore Farm is also home to plentiful
array of wildlife which populates the
Eastern Shore of Maryland. We have nesting Osprey, Bald Eagles, hundreds of
swans during February, thousands of geese and duck, deer,
muskrat, and a few red fox - quite an collection of wildlife life
to enjoy throughout the year.
Please feel free to contact owner
Nancy Holowesko for
information related to any of our horses offered on the website.
