   2005 filly by Florencio out of a  Verband premium Lady's King dam. Flossie's dam is  half sister to the 1998 Champion mare Fackese by Feinbrand.  Flossie was imported as a weanling, and has been a joy to have on the farm. She was started briefly over the summer. I am leaning towards a performance career for her. I am confident she will produce very good foals, but would like to give her a chance to prove herself in the ring. UPDATE

Flossie wins the first MPT test held by the Oldenburg GOV in the US!

With an overall score of 7.7 Flossie won her MPT and was awarded the title of Special premium mare. This title is the US equivalent of an SPS award. Flossie is in foal to the outstanding stallion Quaterback for 2009.

FACKELTANZ

Fackeltanz (Florencio/Feinbrand/Thymian  xx) was named the 1-C Premium Stallion of the 2007 Oldenburg Licensing. Fackeltanz who is owned by Sissy Max-Theuer is by Florencio out of a Fackese, a half sister to Flossie's dam. Fackese was the winner of Rastede in 1998.

I think Fackeltanz is stunning, and was told by someone that attended the Licensing, he was the crowd favorite. Based on the beautiful conformation and fantastic gaits of my closely related filly, I would try Fackeltanz in a heartbeat. Hopefully he will be made available to breeders at some point.
