Wyeth's Dam, Eclipse, was purchased at the Elite Foal and Broodmare
Auction in Verden, Germany in 2003. Eclipse received an overall 8 at
her mare book inspection and a 7.1 on her mare performance test.
Eclipse is a big moving mare , and she is passing this movement on
to her foals. They are all nice movers with active hind ends.
Her sire Espri, Hanoverian stallion of the year in 1995, is a double
talented producer. Better known for his jumping
progeny...Escudo's...he also is proving to be a maker of Dressage
horses. There are currently at least two Espri sired offspring
competing at the International level. Elvis VA with Nadine Capellman
and Epikur (Espri/Weltmeyer/Lemon xx) with Martin Schaudt. Epikur
has a pedigree very similar to Wyeth's.
Celle
stallion Worldly(Weltmeyer/Brentano II) in 2000 won the Dressage
portion of his stallion testing at Adelheidsdorf with a score of
143.20 and became overall reserve champion. In 2001, Worldly placed
third in the 4-year old riding horse class at the Bundeschampionate.
As a six year old, he placed 7th at the 2003 World Championships for
Young Dressage Horses. Worldly has been consistent in
producing strong foals of good type. Worldly had five stallion
candidates at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing 2005. All five were
of noble type and had good movement. All were subsequently
approved for breeding.
Wyeth
is a good moving yearling with three correct and expressive gaits.
He also should be quite a capable jumper given his pedigree.
His confident and friendly demeanor should will him a super
amateur dressage prospect for the upper levels.
