Licensed Stallion with the GOV

We are proud to offer our beautiful 2014 Dante Weltino/Rubinstein/Argentinus stallion for breeding. Davos is our sixth premium GOV colt from our Rubinstein/Argentinus mare Rosalea. Rosalea has been a consistent producer of talented, and hard working riding horses, no matter the sire. Rosalea was imported from Germany as a yearling. In-between having special foals for us, Rosalea did duty as my personal riding horse for a couple years in Nassau.  Two of her son's Steinway and Sabati were also personal riding horses. Both had quality gaits and good work ethics. This is something Rosalea stamps.

Of the six colts Rosalea has produced, I have retained three. Steinway (Sandro Hit/Rubsintein) is schooling all the GP moves and is a school master for our working student Anna. Steinway was successful in the Young Horse Classes and was invited to the US National Championship Finals as a Five and Six Year Old. Steinway is showing PSG and I-1. His full brother Sabati, (one year younger) made the US National Championships as a Four, Five and Six Year old. Sabati is now deceased, but was also schooling GP moves before his death.  Fellini a 2015 colt by Finest, is also being raised as a stallion prospect. At his first in-hand class at the Spy Coast Young Horse series, Fellini scored an 84.4 %. He has beautiful conformation, exceptional gaits, and a willing and trainable mind. He will be started under saddle beginning of 2018.

Davos has had a successful 2018 so far. Qualified for the US National Championships in the Four Year Old Division. Davos placed 2nd on the first day with an 8.26. On the final day, some miscommunications between horse and rider. Ended with an overall 9th place finish.

UPDATE: Davos successfully completed the Three Day Stallion Testing at Hill Top Farm. Davos scored a Final score 8.3. All score above and 8.0 with a 8.5 for trot, Test rider, General Impression.
